Steps to Refill a Bean Bag Chair or a Giant Bean Bag –

1. The first step is to find a place that is closed on all sides and has no breeze. This is because even the slightest breeze will make the beads fly around everywhere and make your task difficult. Make sure that the fan is turned off and all windows are shut tight. In addition, get someone to help you as this makes your job easier and two are always better than one when refilling a bean bag.

2. Find the zipper on your bean bag. In some bean bags you will be unable to pull the zipper; in that case you can place a paper clip into it and pull gently. At this point, just make sure that you can open the bean bag but don’t go ahead and open it.

3. Now grab your refill bag and make the person who is helping you hold on to it. Open the refill bag slightly and also open your bean bag a little. Place the filler right into your bean bag chair and gently start pouring the beans in.

4. It is not required to remove what’s in your bean bag, just add the new stock. However, make sure that the bag does not overfill and become too firm. This will make it too hard and uncomfortable for you, also removing excess beans can become a painful task. So, go slow.

5. Once you’ve refilled enough to make the bag nice and comfortable again, zip your bean bag chair and check if it has shut properly. The next thing to do is to check if the bag is soft enough to your liking and collect any beads that fell off during the process.
